7. Early British Christianity [25p,4f].
The two accounts of how
Britain was founded. Did Christianity come to these shores shortly after the
crucifixion? The admission by a critic that there are several inexplicable
facts supporting this. Caractacus; the British (Welsh?) warrior's exploits
and his speech in Rome that resulted in his pardon. Bran, his fathers
conversion c54 AD and bringing Christianity to Britain. The evidence that
Claudia of 2 Tim. 4:21 was Caractacus daughter, Linus was her brother and
the first pope of Rome and Rufus her Christian Roman senator husband. An
examination of the Druid religion shows that it had some occult teachings.
The coming of Augustine to these shores and the Bangor massacre of 1,200
Christian monks praying for those resisting the new religion. The withholding
of information that shows the early Christian influence of Britain upon
Europe and subsequently the world. Helen, the British mother of
Constantine the Great.
8. Egypt and Israel; Archaeological correlations [22p,6f]. Orthodox
Egyptian chronology does not relate to the history of Israel. A revised
chronology by three critics show that there is considerable evidence
that corroborates the Bible. Josephs famine, the Exodus, Hyksos=Amelekites
etc. recorded. Possible remains of Josephs statue and tomb.
9. A Biblical Chronology [10p,3f]. Examination of the Hebrew texts
(Massoretic, Septuagint, LXX etc.) for the most reliable; the various
dates for creation discussed; A proposed basic chronology from Creation
to the Exodus presented.
10. Jonah and the large fish -a myth? [6p,1f]. Some historical
corroboration.
SECTION 4 - THE YOUNG AGE OF THE EARTH
An examination of the many phenomena showing the earth is young. [34p,10f]
1. Radiometric dating
2. Carbon 14 dating
3. The decrease in the earths magnetic field
4. The shrinkage of the sun
5. The earths rotation
6. The cooling of the earth
7. Polonium haloes
8. Spiral arms of galaxies
9. The age of the stars
10. The micrometeoric dust
11. Short term comets
12. Helium in the atmosphere
13. Continental erosion
14. The population increase
15. Trapped oil and water
16. Other evidence
SECTION 5 - A REPLY TO CRITICS
1. A reply to secular critics [18p]. Explanations that rebut the
ridicule heaped upon the record of the Flood and the Ark.
2. A critique of "Portraits of Creation" [10p,1f] The use of the
"shrinkage of the sun" evidence by Christian evolutionists to pour
scorn on "folk science" creationists. A detailed investigation of
this shows the lack of scientific rigour is on their side. The way
the 'Establishment' blocked the evidence that showed the sun is shrinking.
3. A critique of "Creation and Evolution" [4p] The hidden
flaws in this biased presentation of evidence.
SECTION 6 - INTERLUDE - A Miscellany of Items
1. Poor Bills Almanac [3p]. A humorous interlude by a creation
scientist looking at the foibles of his own profession.
2. Mendel's results "too good to be true". The evidence that Mendel
'massaged' his results. A humorous article on this subject.
3. "Alice in Wonderland" and evolution [3p] The hidden Victorian
personalities (Darwin, Huxley, Owen etc.)` in this famous story.
4. How the 'Scopes Trial' was 'fixed' [3p] Scopes was not even at
the school on the day he was said to have taught the lesson! His class
was 'coached' to lie by the defending lawyer.
5. The Barriers to mass publicity [3p]. How creationist evidence is
blocked by evolutionists from reaching the public.
6. The "Lady Hope" story. [8p] A well researched book that is
critical of this story by James Moore ("The Darwin Legend") actually provides
considerable evidence in support of her story, and accepts that she
DID visit Darwin. Virtually the only evidence against her good
Christian credentials are two critical letters by a fellow evangelical, and
these are examined in detail. The evidence that she may have visited Darwin
several times. The evidence against her account - the silence of the Darwin
family - and a possible reason for this. A critique of some of Moore's
arguments and evidence.
7. God's hidden presence [4p]. A review of various features that
indicate that God will not allow Christians to logically prove his
existence; He requires open-hearted faith first and only then will he provide
abundant proof of His existence and love.
8. The Irrationality of Rationalism [4p]. An examination of the
basis of the materialist/rationalist philosophy shows that it is incapable
of proof. The way in which this can be used to defeat opponents and
demonstrate that God is the only ultimate authority.
9. The Christian basis of science [3p]. Why modern science could
only arise in a Christian environment. The Puritan founders of the Royal
Society. Christian scientists.
SECTION 7 - APPENDICES
1 - The decrease in the speed of light and its results [23p,9f].
A careful examination shows that the speed of light has decreased.
The intriguing results from this that affected life in the early years
of creation - the flight of pteranodons, existence of huge insects, longevity
of life, higher intelligence of man etc.
2 - The anthropic cosmological principle [25p,6f]. The many facts
that demonstrate that the universe was designed for man's existence.
The humanist book with this title used but turned to provide a Christian
interpretation that God exists and planned it for man. The aim of
the book to introduce the atheistic, new age philosophy of Teilhard
de Chardin exposed.
3 - Water and its unique properties [12p,8f]. Some of the amazing
properties of this unique molecule are presented in this very full
coverage.
4 - Geology [56p,17f] An examination of present geological
assumptions. A proposed source for all the material of the Flood strata from
the earth's interior and the considerations that show it could NOT have come
from "erosion" of the original earth. The two contending models for the
formation of the geological column and the problems each have.
5 - The tilt of the earth's axis [10p,4f]. The evidence that the
earth was tilted about 2345 BC which is a possible date obtained from the
Bible for the Flood.
6 - The Gospel in the stars [11p,1f]. An outline of the events and
characters of the gospel story can be traced in the ancient names
of the star groups. Astrology is a corruption of this early witness
to mankind. The Biblical support for this interpretation of the names of the
stars and constellations.
7 - Numbers in the Bible [18p,4f]. The use of letters for numbers
in both the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament allows every
word to be given a number by a reverse process. When this is done some
amazing patterns of repeated numbers appear in the Bible. Genesis 1:1
analysed as an example of many patterns well above the ability of a human to
have composed it. A mathematical proof that the Bible is "God-breathed". A
critique of the Equidistant Letter Sequences system recently publicised.
8 - A critique of Relativity and the Einstein myth [37p,7f]. An
extensive critique of this false theory and its inherent contradictions that
has been forced upon the scientific world in much the same way that
evolution has. The serious effect it has upon the philosophy of science.
The disturbing experiment that necessitated its production.
9 - Is present-day science true [11p,2f]? A collection of 10
theories and working examples that defy orthodox explanation and are
therefore ignored and ridiculed by the scientific establishment.
10 - Geocentricity - a heresy? [29p,11f] The real story behind
Galileos condemnation. The neglected evidence that shows the geocentric view
of the universe has much more support than is generally realised. The
experiments demonstrating geocentricity that are never referred to in
universities - hence the ignorance of most scientists of their existence.
The mental barriers that even Christians have to face if they are to accept
the geocentrist viewpoint. The Biblical support for geocentricity in Genesis 1 - compare the timings of verses 1 and 16 and see if you can see the startling point!
SOME CONCLUDING THOUGHTS [1p].
Why the book will not be popular with evolutionists and even some
creationists. The search for real truth in science and history is the
overruling motivation for the writing of the book - and when it is found, it
fully confirms the Biblical record of historical events.
THE FINAL CURTAIN [1p].
An allegory of human life as "The Drama of the Universe". A thought
provoking challenge to the non-Christian reader to rethink whether their life
has any ultimate purpose and what faces them in eternity when the final
curtain comes down.
